Data Aggregation Typically, an organization's data is dispersed over various databases, forming a complex network of information. In order to analyze and assess all the databases containing information, data must be aggregated.	InQuera Data Aggregation Extract data from PDFs, multiple databases, printed literature, etc. Aggregate all data sources so that they appear in one format.
Data Analysis & Assessment Once the databases have been aggregated, they should be analyzed by experts for completeness, logic, structure, codes, standards, missing information, etc.	InQuera Data Analysis & Assessment Review data sources for brands, items identifiers, categories, attributes, images, etc.
MDM Schema Design Designing master data involves vast experience in MDM, an understanding of the business processes, desired user interaction (Web, behind firewall, printed catalogs) and its use, together with database analysis. Taxonomy Generation A taxonomy must consider both the content and the content structure, as it is the cornerstone for classification, comparability, and searchability of the products. The taxonomy must also take into account the business processes, user interaction, and scalability.	InQuera Taxonomy Generation Design Generate a taxonomy according to customer demand, international standards, or InQuera's proprietary taxonomy system (InQuera Central Repository).
Data Rationalization To ensure that only clean master data is managed by MDM, aggregation, cleansing, normalization, classification, attribute extraction, data enrichment, and duplicate identification should be completed prior to loading.	InQuera Data Rationalization Automated standardization, normalization, classification, and clustering of data, attribute extraction, identification of similar/identical items, and data enrichment is undertaken utilizing the most appropriate data rationalization tools.

Content Management Completing the product information, such as product relationships (i.e., sets and their parts), linking PDFs to products, or linking drawings to attributes, requires profound knowledge and experience of content management. Taxonomy and Data Maintenance Scaling (due to incorporation of new products, merging of databases, or changes in the business environment) sometimes creates the need for a new taxonomy or changes within the existing taxonomy. New data must be adapated to the structure, whilst maintaining consistency and completeness.
